Last night your men responded to a
call that my wife and I placed at about 3AM. Our first floor and basement
had a visible haze and it smelled of something burning. It turned out a
small transformer on the side of my heater had caught fire and put itself out.
Other than a minor repair to the heater, no damage was caused. I
just wanted to write and thank you and all your men for the service they provide
our community. I had men at the house within minutes of placing the
call. All the men were courteous, professional, and worked as a team to
solve my problem. Although the call could have been viewed as a nuisance
it was never treated that way. My family will sleep well knowing that the
Niagara Fire Company is there for our community.
