From May 19th to June 1st the police department participated in the statewide "Click It or Ticket" program. This was funded by the NJ Division of Highway Traffic safety. During this time officers worked supplemental shifts and issued 185 seatbelt tickets, 134 other traffic violations, 3 DWI arrests, 9 other arrests. These are some of the highest statistics we have posted for this type of program.
