Task Force thanks volunteers PDF  | Print |  E-mail
Just a quick word of thanks to all who participated in the revived Spring Cleanup on April 25. Many locations from the Gazebo to the West End were tended to by the nearly 60 volunteers who participated. Local civic groups were well represented, but even more citizens came out to be part of a great day for the first time. Thanks again and look forward to seeing everyone in the upcoming weeks. The Spring Cleanup Day is just one of the many events the Merchantville Task Force will be working in concert with organizations such as the Garden Club, Public Events, First Friday and the Merchantville Farmers Market Committees to name a few. In the immediate future we will be undertaking the hanging plants and flags on the Downtown streetlamps . Also, starting this June 5, First Friday will be joined by the Merchantville Farmers Market, which will take place next to 9 South Centre ( the site of the old First National Bank of Merchantville) from 4 pm - 8 pm. Followed by the Merchantville Birthday Celebration on Saturday June 6 from 10 am - 3 pm. This year's event will have an exciting new change of venue at the Community Center.

If you had expressed an interest in a community organization, your email address will be forwarded to that group.
