CCHS offers Summer enrichment camp PDF  | Print |  E-mail
Camden Catholic High School, Cherry Hill, is offering summer camps and enrichment programs for area elementary and incoming 9th grade students interested in the performing arts, sports, and subject areas such as journalism, forensic science, and study skills. The registration forms and more details are found on the Camden Catholic website.

The Summer Theatre Program, for students entering grades 5-9, takes place July 6 through July 30. The program runs from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Students learn skills such as character interpretation, vocal production, and stage presence, as well as aspects of theatrical production. Cost is $250 per student.

The Summer Enrichment Programs, for students entering grades 5-9, begin on July 13 and end July 30, with two morning sessions at 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Topics include study skills, math skills, English grammar and composition, Spanish, journalism, art techniques, environmental science, and forensic science. Cost is $200 for one session; $350 for two sessions.

Camden Catholic Athletic Camps give students access to the 33-acre campus and facilities of the school. They run from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon, except for Girls Lacrosse, which runs from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Cost for each week of camp is $100, which includes a camp T-shirt. Boys Basketball Camp for boys entering grades 3-9, under the direction of Varsity Coach Jim Crawford, has three sessions: June 16-19, June 22-25, June 29-July 2.

Camden Catholic Girls Basketball Camp for girls entering grades 5-9, under the direction of Varsity Coach Chris Palladino, has two sessions: July 20-23 and July 27-30. Girls Soccer Camp for girls entering grades 7-9, under the direction of Varsity Coach Adrian Salcedo, runs the week of August 3-7. Girls Lacrosse Camp, for girls entering grades 5-9, under the direction of Varsity Coach Monica DeBease, runs from run June 29 to July 2.
