A Master Plan is the principle document used to
formulate the contents of the Borough's zoning and sub-division ordinances . A thorough Master Plan also serves as the basis of future
planning decisions for proposed capital improvements, program funding, regulation changes and future planning
priorities.
During the
last several months, meetings have been held in
the Community Center to discuss many aspects about our town to include
land use, pedestrian and vehicular traffic flow, parking, community
resources, Smart Growth and historic preservation, population and
housing needs and other important matters that define our town now and
in the
future.
The
September 25th Planning Board meeting has been changed to an open work
session to review additional draft Master Plan
sections and the public hearing has been moved to October 23rd.
Complete draft content is available from the on this page and through the Borough Clerkâs
office. Copies will also be distributed at the work session.
The Public Hearing for the Final Draft of the Master Plan in its entirety has been
rescheduled to October 23, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at the Community Center.
To facilitate consideration of your comments or suggestions regarding
the draft sections as they are completed, you are encouraged to provide
your thoughts to the Planning Board and/or Ragan Design Group.
