Fresh Eggs at the Market

Sparrow Lake Farms in Monroeville, NJ brings fresh eggs, produce and pasture raised chicken to Merchantville's weekly Market Off Centre. They offer customers fresh herbs, green garlic, garlic scapes, and onions; kale and pure raised roasters. The Market provides an active family oriented atmosphere offering a variety of local, handmade, and homemade goods and services. Market Off Centre Opens

Only one more day until the start of a new Merchantville Market Off Centre season. Who’s excited? Here are our farms: Katt Paradise Farm, our longest tenured farm and vendor is returning for another season. With a great core group of consistent vendors who are already looking forward to 2019. We want to thank everyone who came out to support the market, whether it be customer, vendor or volunteer, you are very important to us. Keep coming back and spread the word. Merchantville's Market Off Centre will have hours from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Daffodil Fest on April 13th.

Calling for kids recycled art

All kids are invited to bring their recycled artwork from home to be exhibited at the Market Off Centre. Fee is free. Drop off your artwork: 9:00am to the Kids' Zone Tent. The Merchantville Farmers Market season opens Saturday, June 2nd from 10-2 and continues every following Saturday through October. Still accepting local food and handmade product vendors. Opening day for Merchantville Farmers Market. $15 fee per market. No weekly commitment.

South Jersey Farms Adjusting After Long, Cold Winter

South Jersey's cold winter weather continued into spring and, because of this, many farmers say that they're at least one to three weeks behind on their crops. Southern states such as Florida and Georgia are finishing out their growing seasons at their normal times, but northern states such as New York and Pennsylvania are getting an even later start than South Jersey due to even harsher conditions.
