David Ralic was never the kind of man who slipped into a room unnoticed. At 27, his 350 pounds was evenly distributed over his 6-foot-5 frame. Then he bought the restaurant Ralic, in Haddonfield, and as he tasted and tasted, he grew even larger, finally ballooning to 430 pounds. His weight endangered his life.  Café BellaVita will be hosting two different events in July and we want you to save the dates to experience Carlo’s talented cooking. Thursday July 19 features a Pork Dinner where Carlo will be serving a full picnic roast for parties of 4 and more. Round up the family and friends and make it a date at your local Italian Bistro. This event is by reservation only. And, on Thursday, July 26 our monthly Taste of Sicily. Seafood is a big influence in Sicily which is surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea. On Thursday, March 22nd, BellaVta presents a "Taste of Scicily" featuring tow appetizers, refreshing Caponata and traditional, crispy Arancini,. The first course will be Anelli Sicilani al Forno, baked pasta layered with eggplant, meat sauce, cheese and toasted breadcrumbs. The second course, Spiedini, top round beef with bread crumbs.
