Are Merchantville students off to Haddon Heights? |

Attempts to remove Merchantville students from Pennsauken High School have gone on for decades. Merchantville’s most recent effort to move its students occurred in 1992. In that case, an administrative law judge said Merchantville could send high school students to Haddonfield, if Haddonfield would accept them.
However, the state education commissioner overturned the judge's ruling and an appeal failed. Haddon Heights High School already accepts students from neighboring Barrington and Lawnside.
