Merchantville's school plan may face challenge ‎
The school boards in Merchantville and Haddon Heights approved the plan earlier this week. But Pennsauken officials have not commented publicly on the proposal, which would likely boost the township’s tax levy. School Superintendent Marilyn Martinez did not respond to requests for comment Thursday. “I don’t know if they’re going to fight it or not,” Bell said of Pennsauken officials. “There’s been no communication. People doing the feasibility study (for the Merchantville district) tried to make contact with them without success. But that’s their choice.” http://on.cpsj.com/ylhMbO
