A state champion golfer at Camden Catholic and a graduate of Glassboro State College, Tom Scranton used his entrepreneurial instincts to become president and CEO of Patriot Environmental Services, a Wilmington, Calif.-based company that specializes in cleaning up oil spills. Classic cars by the hundreds will roll into Merchantville, Camden County, Saturday for the borough's 13th annual Car & Bike Show. "It's a better way of learning," says the 16-year-old, in the middle of her first driving session with Sherlock. "It was someone I didn't know; I was less nervous with him." A Merchantville man walked out of Walmart Wednesday with 26-inch television and fled in his car before Cinnaminson Police picked him up at a local motel later, officials said.
