| West Maple Neighborhood Task Force |
Ragan Design Group, LLC is working on a Joint Municipality Strategic Plan with Camden, Merchantville, and Pennsauken for the West Maple Neighborhood. The project serves various purposes, including developing recommendations for improving the West Maple Neighborhood, opening the lines of communication between the various municipalities, as well as pooling resources (human, financial, political) to target investments that will achieve the greatest impact on neighborhood conditions.
Representatives from all three communities are serving on the West Maple Neighborhood Task Force. Meetings are held on the second Thursday of the month in Merchantville Borough Hall at 10 am and are open to the public. Over the next few months, the Task Force will be distributing surveys to neighborhood residents and businesses. We will also be holding a public workshop to gain input on the challenges and opportunities in the neighborhood. Thereafter, we will hold another public workshop to obtain feedback on some of the recommendations that develop thru this process. In the long term, it is the intent for the Task Force to serve as the organizational framework that will support regular interaction and coordination between the three communities even after the study portion is complete.
You, as a stakeholder, play an important role in making a real change in the neighborhood. Resident and business participation and political leadership is necessary to bring about long-term change in the neighborhood. We welcome your participation and hope to see you at some of our meetings and/or public workshops!
From time to time, Ragan Design Group, LLC will be sending you notices and updates about the project. If you do not wish to receive them, please let me know and I will take you off the distribution list.
Sincerely,
Mara Wuebker, P.P., A.I.C.P.
