MES_LogoThe Merchantville School District is seeking candidates for a full-time 5th grade Math/Science teacher position to cover long-term maternity leave. Start date Sept. 1, 2012 and end date Feb. 2, 2013. Also for a part-time Elementary Special Education teacher position who is highly qualified in Math. Start date Sept. 1, 2012. Salary per negotiated contract.

PUBLIC NOTICE: Open BOE seats

New Jersey's 2012 November school elections will take place on Tuesday, November 6th, the date of the General Election. Merchantville will have four (4) open seats on the ballot, 3 – three year terms and 1 – two year term. For the convenience of prospective candidates, NJSBA's Candidate Kit provides resources for anyone considering running for their local school board online at The NJ School Boards Association. The deadline for filing is Tuesday, June 5, 2012.

RFP announced for two MES projects
MES_LogoProposals for a Locker Room Alterations project and School Fire Doors have been requested by Merchantville Elementary School. The sealed bids will be opened and read aloud at their offices, located at 130 South Centre Street, Merchantville, NJ 08109, at 3:00 p.m on Friday May 18, 2012. A mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at the project site on Monday May 7, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. Bidder questions must be forwarded in writing to the Architect, William P. District school budget released

A Public Hearing meeting on the 2012-2013 School Budget was held at Merchantville School on March 27th. The School District proposed programs and services in addition to core curriculum content standards adopted by the State Board of Education.
