CCHS Opens student boarding program |
Camden Catholic High School in Cherry Hill, South Jersey’s oldest Catholic co-educational college preparatory school, and alma mater to many Merchantville residents, will open its doors to a boarding program for the 2011-2012 school year. The students will be living on campus at the Nazareth House, the building that once housed the Sisters who taught at Camden Catholic, seminarians, and eventually was host for the school retreats.

Christian Swanson resigns |

School District Superintendent and Chief School Administrator, Chris Swanson, resigned effective June 30, 2011 at the May 24, 2011 Board of Education meeting. The BOE has formed a Board CSA Search Committee to lead us in finding our next CSA. Given that this search will take several months, the Board will also be hiring an Interim CSA until the position is permanently filled. Mobile weather lab visits Merchantville School |

Student teacher, Caitlin Davis invited the CBS Mobile Weather Lab to visit Mrs. Fields' first grade class at Merchantville School. Meteorologist Justin Drabick was live with the MWL in Merchantville , NJ at noon Wednesday. The Mobile Weather Lab is housed inside a sports utility vehicle and features two dashboard mounted cameras, microwave capability that allows it to “go live” even when in motion, two iPads, real-time National Weather Service radar as well as internet, GPS navigation and Skype ™ capability.
