Joseph and Anna Maria Severino learned the art of pasta making from Umberto Casoli, an artisinal pasta maker in Italy. In 1971 they returned to America with recipes in hand and introduced their uniquely handcrafted pasta products made from 100% semolina flour. For over 35 years the family shop in Haddon Twp. has been known as the place to find authentic richly flavored pasta. Register for Summer Parks & Playground |
Come join us for some summer fun! The Summer Parks and Playgrounds Program begins Monday, June 24th and runs through Friday, July 26th from 9 a.m. to noon at the Merchantville Community Center. Children who have completed pre-K through 10 years of age are invited to participate.

 The Delaware River Port Authority Public Safety Department will join law enforcement professionals from across the United States in the Click it or Ticket seat belt awareness campaign for two weeks from Monday, May 20 - June 2. DRPA police efforts will focus on stepping up enforcement of New Jersey's primary seat belt law and on educating motorists about the importance of buckling up in moving vehicle.

Merchantville is known as South Jersey's Victorian Secret. It is big on tradition but short on houses for sale. Why? People move in but they rarely ever leave. Trees abound at west gateway |
Members of the West Maple Neighborhood and the New Jersey Tree Foundation are planting 34 trees along West Maple Avenue and the Federal Street Overpass on Wednesday, May 1st and Thursday, May 2st. "It has been a long road with several unexpected hurdles, such as an abundance of underground utilities, causing us to reduce and change planting locations", said project coordinator, Mara Wuebker, from Ragan Design.

A Cherry Hill man was arrested for theft after Cherry Hill Police said an alert teen spotted him grabbing two bicycles Monday night from the back yard of a home on Spruce Street, on the Cherry Hill - Merchantville border. Brian Grayson, 50, of Wisteria Avenue, was caught after Cherry Hill and Merchantville officers searched the area following the report of the thefts, which came around 9:15 p.m., police said.
