The Merchantville Department of Public Works would like to remind all residents that this time of year typically brings an increase in yard clean-up activities. As a result, the volume of yard waste collection is significantly higher than usual, which may lead to delays in our normal pickup schedule. We kindly ask for your patience and understanding as our crews work diligently to manage the increased workload.
Please be aware that some collections, including green can pickups, may be temporarily adjusted due to the high volume of yard waste. In some cases, yard waste collection may be prioritized before returning to regular green can service.
We want to assure residents that we are aware of these delays and are actively working as quickly and efficiently as possible to restore normal operations. As a reminder, yard waste collection has changed from Wednesdays to Mondays. We ask residents to please ensure materials are placed curbside accordingly.
