Strong women of sustainable agriculture. Imagine an organic farming revolution. One that builds soil rather than depletes it and saves seed rather than destroys it. Right now, millions of women are behind this work. They believe in tomorrow. And their work is changing the world. Women Who Farm supports and celebrates those who do this necessary work. We bring resources, community, and shared story. http://www.womenwhofarm.com/

South Jersey's cold winter weather continued into spring and, because of this, many farmers say that they're at least one to three weeks behind on their crops. Southern states such as Florida and Georgia are finishing out their growing seasons at their normal times, but northern states such as New York and Pennsylvania are getting an even later start than South Jersey due to even harsher conditions.

Merchantville's "Market Off Centre" will host their annual Chili Cook-Off during the farmers market on 10/21/17.  They have had good turnouts in past years and are looking for the best local chili recipes and competitors! Let us know if you want to join in the fun. Email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to let them know.
