Spread the word! It's time to register for the 2025 Woodbine Swim Club swim team season! We are looking forward to seeing returning swim team members as well as new faces. This year is a perfect year to try out the swim team if you have never been a part of the team before. The more swimmers we have the more fun the season will be. Woodbine Swim Club is a part of the Tri-County Swimming Pool Association, where our swimmers compete in swim meets throughout the summer against other local clubs.

Texas Hold 'em Poker Tournament will be hosted by the Knights of Columbus Council #6735 on Friday, May 16th, starting at 7:00 p.m. in the St. Peter Parish Gym, 43 W. Maple Ave., Merchantville. Admission is $40 per person and includes pizza. BYO beverages. The tournament is open to anyone 21 and older so bring your friends. On Saturday, March 29, 2025, the Merchantville Fishing Club will be celebrating our 77th Anniversary Awards Banquet.  The banquet will be held at Happy Hour Club, 764 E. Laurelton Ave., Maple Shade, NJ from 6:00 until 10:00 p.m.  The cost is $45.00 for adults and $25.00 for juniors (16 & under).  Beer, soda, and setups will be provided. Guest, spouse, and/or juniors attendance is encouraged.  Come out and have an enjoyable evening with us. This Saturday, May 10th we'll be painting the pool, prepping the garden beds and much more at Woodbine Swim Club! It will be a beautiful day to have "all hands on deck" to help get our club ready for the 2025 summer swim season. The weather forecast has postponed our efforts by a few weeks but we will be at the club this Saturday morning ready to get the pools painted, weeding, hanging wind screens, etc. We will have a sign-in sheet for your name to provide - if needed - for service hours. On a very blustery, chilly Saturday, March 1st,  cub master Melissa Hofmann and BSA Pack 252 of Cherry Hill - which serves, boys and girls in Kindergarten through 5th grade in the Merchantville/Cherry Hill West area - took a field trip to our Community Center to learn about the Merchantville Maple Project. This group of eight scouts and parents met with our sap sugaring team to see firsthand the process of how maple tapping, collection, straining and boiling happens. Team members Joan Brennan, Kathy Mantelas and Dorothy Foley
