Join Merchantville's Garden Club for our second annual Daffodil Fest! Activities will take place at the bike path by the gazebo and The Station Coffee Saturday, April 14, 12;00-3;00PM. (Rain date Sunday, April 15, 12:00-3:00PM). Merchantville’s very special daffodil bulbs will be offered for sale to homeowners, and funds will be solicited to purchase bulbs for additional sites on the path. Tee shirt sales, Kid’s Zone, a Peter Rabbit Book Trail, a pansy plant sale, and a seedling giveaway…there will be plenty to see and do! Join us, and bring a friend! Rain date: April 15th

On Saturday, March 24, 2018, we will be celebrating our 70th Anniversary Awards Banquet.  The banquet will be held at Happy Hour Club, 764 E. Laurelton Ave. (Rt.73 S), Maple Shade, NJ  08052 from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm.  The cost is $30 for adults and $10 for juniors (16 & under).  Beer, soda, and setups will be provided. Guest, spouse, and/or juniors attendance is encouraged.  Come out and have an enjoyable evening with us.

The Merchantville Woman’s Club Evening Membership Department is sponsoring a Local Authors Night on Thursday, Nov. 19, from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Merchantville Community Center. Six authors from our area will speak on their experiences in writing and publishing. Come and meet historical romance novelist Terri Brisbin, mystery writer Ilene Schneider, resident Paul Stridick, for his wife essayist and poet Janice Wilson Stridick, children’s author Traci Dunham, non-fiction writer Patty Sheey and Courier-Post reporter and author Carol Comego featuring her historical book on the Battleship New Jersey? Merchantville Little League is registering kids from the borough and neighboring towns for their 2017 baseball and softball programs. The Women’s Club of Merchantville is hosting a trip to see the play “Respect: A Musical Journey of Women” at the Penn’s Landing Playhouse on Wednesday, May 13th.
