Nicholas J. DiGrosso, Sr,. 79, a thirty-nine year employee of the Merchantville-Pennsauken Water Commission. Nick, the only son of Michael and Helen DiGrosso and big brother to his three sisters; died Monday with his loving family by his side. Nick first came to the commission in 1958 after serving in the Army in Korea. Having lived most of his life in Pennsauken and Merchantville, Nick attended Camden Catholic High School and Camden County Vocational School. Kristina Schmidt Carden (nee Krouse) 61, on February 16, 2012 of Merchantville. Daughter of the late Richard E. and Mary Shirley Krouse; Loving Mother of Tiffany (Andy) Bordi; Beloved Wife of Paul Carden; Loving Sister of Richard (Theresa) Krouse; Devoted Grandmother (GG) of Cameron and Madelyn Bordi and Favorite Aunt. Also survived by many close friends & family. Tina, a lifelong resident of Merchantville was co-owner of the Green Marquee Antiques shop. She enjoyed a 30 plus year career as an antique dealer where she met and developed deep and loving friendships. She loved her family, dogs, birds, gardens and valued social time with her close friends. Tina was a long time member of the First Presbyterian Church of Merchantville where she served as Deacon visiting and caring for the elderly community. Relatives and friends are invited for visitation on Thurs., Feb. 23rd at 2:00 followed by a Service of Witness to the Resurrection at 3:00 at the First Presbyterian Church of Merchantville, 10 W. Helen Ann (Williams) Stevens, age 85, of Moorestown, passed away on January 25, 2012. Born and raised in the Frankfurt section of Philadelphia, she graduated in 1948 from the University of Pennsylvania, where she met her husband of 59 years, Newlin W. Stevens, who predeceased her. Helen resided and raised a family of five in Merchantville, NJ all who survive her, Lynne Shand (Rt. Rev James J.), Cheryl Barlow (John), Karen Franklin (Bob), Janet Stevens (Peter Burgess), Kenneth (Anne) and 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Helen loved traveling and spending time with family and friends, most of the time in same near water or boating related venue. A woman of strong faith, Helen volunteered and helped with many church endeavors' throughout her life. Helen was also very active in Girl Scouts serving at many levels of the organization.
