Camden County released results for the June 2, 2026 Primary which are unofficial and ballots will be continued to be processed through certification. Results will be updated regularly on their website. Certification date is Friday, June 12, 2026. In Camden County, incumbent Camden County Commissioners Louis Cappelli and Jonathan Young Sr. defeated a pair of progressive challengers for renomination in the Democratic primary. In the Merchantville Borough Democratic primary Ray Woods III has won for Mayor with 522 votes. There were 28 write-ins 550 total ballots cast. Reporting for 2 Council positions in the Democratic primary
currently has Brady with 332, Fitzgerald with 313, Miller with 307, Delarosa with 277 and 4 write-in votes.
The expected schedule for the release of results is: Initial Vote by Mail Ballots: June 2, 2026 – shortly after close of polls including ballots cast by mail and fully processed by the close of poll. This will not include: ballots that arrive in-person timely nearing the close of polls on election night, non-machine readable ballots that need to be hand-counted, and ballots in the final run of the drop-boxes collected at the close of polls. No additional Vote by Mail ballot results are expected on election night after initial release.
Early Voting Machines: June 2, 2026 – shortly after close of polls. Ballots cast during the Early Voting period. This should include all Early Voting Ballots cast. Election Day Voting Machines: June 2, 2026 – beginning at approximately 8:30 p.m. Subsequent timely Vote by Mail Ballots: Daily beginning on or about June 3, 2026 through June 8, 2026. Ballots cast by mail that are received timely and are eligible to be counted. These include: VBMs received on or before election day but not processed, non-machine readable ballots, VBMs received within 48 hours without a postmark, VBMs received within 6 days with a timely postmark. Cured Vote by Mail and Provisional Ballots: Daily beginning on or about June 3, 2026 through June 10, 2026. Ballots that are eligible for signature cure upon verification of the voter’s signature. Provisional Ballots: Daily beginning on or about June 9, 2026 through June 11, 2026. Beginning once all Vote by Mail ballots have been received, eligibility of provisional ballots can be confirmed, and the ballots can then be processed and reported.
