CAMDEN COUNTY, NJ — The Nor'easter storm bringing high winds, coastal flooding and heavy rain to our region and the Northeast through Sunday has either cancelled or postponed a number of Camden County events. Locally, Merchantville’s Toy Fair and Collingswood's "Porchfest" scheduled for 9/26 were canceled or postponed to a later date. Governor Mikie Sherrill declared a State of Emergency that took effect at 5 p.m. on Friday for multiple counties in the state that runs until Sunday. While Camden County was not
initially named in the designation, the area was still expected to receive potential flooding and wind damage. Many of the region's active wind advisories are scheduled to lift at noon today, though some coastal flood warnings and lingering storm impacts will continue to affect the region into Monday.
