Merchantville's turning 150 years young! Our town will celebrate the Borough Beautiful and all its history on Saturday, May 18, 2024 with a sesquicentennial parade through the streets. Marching bands, floats, dance troupes and more lead the caravan through Merchantville's downtown to mark the momentous occasion. And, what's a parade without mummers?? Merchantville is excited to welcome the Quaker City String Band to the parade! Join us as the Borough celebrates its 150th birthday May 18th starting at 10:00 a.m.

The Borough Beautiful parade takes off at Maple and Lexington into the downtown at 10am. Grab a spot on the route down Maple and Park so you don’t miss a moment. Interested in creating a float for the occasion? Have we got news for you! Gather some friends, or ask your club and enter your float today. Trophies awarded to the top 3 float entrants.
