South Jersey's champion of the wrestling mat is taking on a new challenge. Olympic gold medal winner Jordan Burroughs plans to open his "All I See Is Gold" wrestling academy this spring in a former CVS in Merchantville. Jordan Burroughs was the first American wrestler to earn seven gold medals. He plans to teach a growing number of students in Merchantville and neighboring towns. "It’s going to attract a higher-level wrestler, someone who’s really focused
on wrestling and wants to take it to the next level," Lauren Burroughs, Jordan's wife, said of the family's venture. At the heart of the academy is a commitment to forging champions both on and off the mat. While technical prowess and physical fitness are paramount, the All I See Is Gold Academy emphasizes holistic development. Stay tuned to his FaceBook page and Instagram posts for updates. Welcome to our town!
