On Monday, October 23th from 5:30-7:30 p.m. get introduced to the game of Mah Jong at the Merchantville Public Library. American Mah Jongg is a rummy game based on the original Chinese Mah Jongg. Learn the basics of play, including the tiles, the Charleston, the wall, the rhythm of the game, and how to read the cards and form hands. All supplies are included. Then, on Wednesday, October 25th from 3:30-4:30 p.m becomes . . . "The Haunted Library!" Also on Wednesday, October 25th from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Adults can get tips on Holiday Planning: Cash versus Credit Cards. Learn how to take a proactive approach to escape holiday debt. Attendees will look at the pros and cons of using cash and/or credit cards for holiday expenses.
