Merchantville's Community Center is an exceptional venue for any event you're planning - from showers and birthdays to graduations, weddings and more! Our beautiful, historic building features Tudor architecture and is set on tree-covered grounds. The ballroom on our main floor opens to a stunning outdoor patio through tasteful french doors and is perfectly suited to host your ceremony and reception. It's a Bike Rodeo! On Sunday, May 18th, grab your bikes and head to the Community Center at 212 Somerset Avenue from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. for this FREE event supporting bike and pedestrian safety. The Merchantville Police Department Bike Patrol will be on hand to work with kids aged 4-12 on cycling skills and safety - just in time for summer adventures! As of May 2nd, the CDC's confirmed measles case count is 935, more than triple the amount seen in all of 2024. The three-month outbreak in Texas accounts for the vast majority of cases, with 683 confirmed as of Friday, May 2. The outbreak has also spread to New Mexico, Oklahoma and Kansas. Measles is caused by a highly contagious virus that's airborne and spreads easily when an infected person breathes, sneezes or coughs. It is preventable through vaccines, and has been considered eliminated from the U.S.
