Fragrant with herbs and rich with olive oil, focaccia is an Italian flatbread dating back to Roman times. There is no end to the variety of flavorings for this very easy dough and, whether you smother it lavishly in toppings or dress it simply with oil and sea salt, the foundation is the same. In our class, we use biga (a natural leaving) to ferment our dough and create a light, tender, utterly delicious flatbread that you will want to make often. Learn how easy it is to make your favorite Italian cookies on Sunday, December 1st from 1:00-3:30 p.m. In this class you will make amaretti, classic biscotti, crumeri, giuggiuleani, the best pizzelles you've ever tasted and more. You'll amaze yourself and bring home a generous sampling to share with your family and friends. Register for this class with and individual deposit of $25 per guest is all you need to secure your place - or your party's place - in a class. The balance will be due at the start of class. We prefer check or cash for the balance. Pasta and pastry classes are offered individually for $75 each. Classes are limited to 6 students so that everyone has plenty of personal attention.
