Looking forward to Starving Artist Pop-Up-Take II on March 7th from 5:00-10:00 p.m. at Ryan's Retail, hosted by Shop Merchantville. We will have up to 15 local guest artists at our venue and compliment your experience with live music and light refreshments. Public admission is free and we still have room for a few more artists. Dannette Strader recently announced the first meeting of her Adult Craft Club beginning on Wednesday, December 18th, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Join in some creative fun, enjoy some tea, coffee, and community with other local crafters. The club will feature a different craft making opportunity every month. This month’s craft will be holiday ornaments. Classes will take place at Ryan’s Retail, 22 North Centre Street and the fee for each class is $10. Eilandarts Center is delighted to offer a six-week course where your child will learn how to keep and love an art journal, on Wednesdays, beginning November 27th. This workshop will enforce the participant's ability to observe his/her environment and channel creativity into art. During the course, we will collect items and fill up the journal with ideas and samples. There will be projects in drawing, painting, collaging and 3-dimensional. We will talk about different artists and their approach to art. The goal of the workshop is to help the young artist to discover their own creativity and find pleasure applying it into art form. Do you have a curious scientist in your house? ​Looking for a fun way to introduce your little one to science and art? Step into the laboratory at Eilandarts Center on Wednesday, November 20th, from 10:00 - 10:45 a.m. as we create everything from slime to volcanic eruptions.
