This event is to raise awareness of Heart-to-Heart: Comienzos East – Transformative Education in Jails, Prisons and Communities.
Heart-to-Heart is a community organization with a 25 year tradition of success in enabling men and women who are incarcerated to return, reintegrate, and contribute to their local communities. Be a part of this movement through learning, contributing or connecting with Heart-to-Heart communities. Heart-to-Heart are educating in three prisons in Pennsylvania and New Jersey teaching nonviolent communication, meditation, yoga, twelve step spirituality and the body’s natural way of healing trauma. Heart-to-Heart receives no grants from the prisons systems at this time and the organization is funded through events and some private contributions.
