On May 18, 2012 age 70 (nee Young) of Merchantville, NJ. She was the wife of the late Gordon "Corkie" Hargrove and mother of the late Harry Hargrove.She is survived by one daughter Rita (Frank) Barney; three grandchildren James, Miranda, and Julie; three sisters Thelma Evans, Imanelle Vanatta,and Mentie Atnip and one brother Nelson Young.
She was also predeceased by sisters Lera and Elsie and brothers Lester, Dallas, Herman, Alvin and Kelly. Mrs. Hargrove loved listening to oldies music and taking her Corvette out for drives. She had a passion for automobiles, plants, flowers and wildlife.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with her family on Saturday afternoon from 1:00-2:00 PM in the ALLOWAY FUNERAL HOME, 315 E. Maple Ave., Merchantville, NJ. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM in the funeral home. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart and Lung Association or a charity of the donors choice .
