At 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 17th, at the POW/MIA Remembrance Service took place at Grace Episcopal Church. Members of F.W. Grigg Post 68 and Scout Troop 119 remembered the thousands of service men and women who never returned home or are still missing and scout Meredith had the honor of carrying the POW/MIA flag. This event was hosted by the Merchantville American Legion Post 68 in conjunction with the Camden County American Legion committee. During the service the flag and its meaning were explained, a missing man table service was preformed and all that attended were given an opportunity to hold the flag. Afterwards, Merchantville Scout Troop 119 installed the flag on the church's flag pole.
