Today, Merchantville School sends off their collected books to BookSmiles, knowing that each book will find its way into the hands of eager young readers, sparking imagination and curiosity. of educators, parents and student-activists who enable ALL children to build a library of their own. "By diverting used children's books from going to landfills or pulpers, we provide millions of books with new life by irrigating book deserts. Starting in infancy, children living in book deserts can build robust libraries of their own, inviting academic success!"
