Merchantville will participate in the 30th annual National Night Out tonight from 6 - 8 p.m. The event intends to show that neighborhoods are united against crime. Residents are asked to turn on their exterior lights and socialize outdoors. National Association of Town Watch (NATW) is a non-profit organization

Come join us for some summer fun!  The Summer Parks and Playgrounds Program begins Monday, June 24th and runs through Friday, July 26th from 9 a.m. to noon at the Merchantville Community Center. Children who have completed pre-K through 10 years of age are invited to participate.

A Memorial Day ceremony will take place in Wellwood Park at Maple & Linden Avenue on Monday, May 27th at 10:00 a.m. There will be a wreath laying, guest speakers and refreshments. The program will be conducted by the F.W.Grigg Post 68 Deputy Commander, The American Legion, Merchantville, New Jersey. In the event of inclement weather the service will be held at the Community Center, 212 Somerset Avenue.

At the last meeting for the West Maple Task Force members decided to continue to hold meetings on a quarterly basis until such time that another source of funds becomes available to finance RDG’s professional planning services.  It was agreed that each municipality will take a turn hosting the meetings in its municipality,
