Gain analysis and research skills at Forensics Science Camp. Grow yout artistic talents at Theatre or Band Camp. Choose the week or weeks that best fit your summer schedule and, as an added bonus, parents of students entering 6th – 8th grades can sign up for our extended day program. Take a trip back in time to the Roaring 20’s, the stock market crash, the fabulous 40’s, and put it all to the music of Jerry Herman’s MAME. That is the show that the amazing performing arts department at Camden Catholic High School in Cherry Hill will be doing on March 16, 17, 23, 24, at 7:30 pm, 18 and 25 at 2pm. Tickets are $10 and reserved seating is available. Call the school at 856-663-2247, extension 25. The March 23rd performance will be Alumni Night.

Members of Merchantville High School Class of '60 are invited to join us on the weekend of October 5-7, 2012 in celebrating our 70th birthdays. Plans include a Rec Dance on Friday night, a tour of the school, a golf outing on Saturday, a dinner-dance on Saturday night and brunch on Sunday. Mark your calendars to come home again! Camden Catholic High School French language student, Kelley Davis of Merchantville, experienced total immersion into French culture during the Cherry Hill school's annual trip to the Quebec Winter Carnival, the largest winter celebration in the world. The annual trip organized by French teacher Noemi Merenyi included visits to historic sites of Quebec City, a ride across the nearly frozen St. Lawrence River, and a visit to the spectacular Ice Palace. Standing in front of the Palace are (from left) Abigail Alston, Shayne Ruane, and Emily Pandola, all of Pennsauken; Kelley Davis of Merchantville; and Danielle Palombi of Pennsauken.

The wrestlers change with each new season, and the coaches come and go, but the state wrestling championships keep coming for Camden Catholic High School. The Fighting Irish annexed their third straight Non-Public B championship Sunday, and their ninth straight title overall (the others coming in Non-Public A), with a 54-18 win over DePaul at Pine Belt Arena. It was the 14th overall championship for the program, but it was the first for head coach Ryan McCormick, who took over the team this season after Jerry Bolan had coached the team to three straight championships. A former wrestler at Camden Catholic, McCormick was happy to get his first state title as a coach. http://on.cpsj.com/wanXV9

Merchantville's Public Library has several over the next 6 weeks including: A visit from the Camden County Certified Gardeners on Wednesday, August 6th at 3:00 p.m. for adults seeking expert tips, advice, and resources to help your garden grow. No registration needed; A Musical Instrument Petting Zoo for all ages. Stop by the library between 2:30 pm - 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 9th, to take part in this interactive exhibit
