On the Women's March on Washington website Sunday, event organizers unveiled the "10 Actions for the first 100 Days" campaign, an effort to keep those who supported the march focused on joint activism. The first action suggests that women write postcards to their senators, to make it clear where they stand on the issues that matter most to them, such as health care, LGBTQ rights, immigration, or civil rights, or any issue. So, if you are interested in mobilizing the effort to keep the campaign alive in Merchantville we have POSTCARDS for you! Email us at This email address is being protected from spambots. The annual Borough Easter Egg Hunt at Merchantville's Community Center last Saturday was a huge success! Kids, grandkids, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, neighbors and friends waited with their with baskets and bags in the cool morning air for the arrival of the fire truck to bring the guy with the Big, Floppy Ears! The Easter Bunny arrived to cheers and greeted eager egg hunters lined up in by age in rows throughout the parking lot. A boys and girls bike were raffeled off to two lucky children then, the happy hunters were lead by the EB to the fields where the egg hunting - or grabbng - got underway. And, one lucky child from each age group who found a "special egg" won a chocolate bunny courtesy of Aunt Charlotte's! 2015 Egg Hunt pictures.
