Hot off the presses! On April 1st Mayor Brennan introduced The Borough Brief - a digital newsletter containing updates on Borough of Merchantville happenings. Please subscribe on the front page of the Borough's website. Articles in this first edition include conducting virtual Council meetings, how to track the spread of coronavirus across the state by county on the dashboard at NJ DOH, the re-opening of The Blue Monkey Tavern and some ideas on how you can support our businesses to keep our local economy going during this difficult time. Links are also provided to the coming virtual Council meeting, NJ 2-1-1 and Camden County Covid-19 updates.

The Pennsauken Environmental Commission is hosting its annual resident-only shredding event at the Park Avenue School Campus, 8201 Park Ave., on Saturday, April 5th, from 8:00 a.m. to noon. This paper-only shredding event is solely for Pennsauken and Merchantville residents, not businesses; those who attend must bring an I.D. Items for shredding should be placed in the rear of the vehicle, such as a trunk, truck bed, or an unoccupied back seat. Things that can be shredded include anything that has your signature, account number, social security number, etc., as well as any type of medical or legal information; documents can range from bank statements and credit card offers to tax forms and utility bills.

Our peaceful movement on is only getting bigger and stronger. On Saturday, October 18th from 12:00-4:00 p.m. a "No Kings" March with Cooper River Indivisible will stage at the Westmont PATCO Station, 100 Stoy Avenue in Haddon Township. People will begin to up for the march at noon. We will be collecting items you bring for the Food Drive from 11:30 am to 12:30 at the location indicated. The march will begin moving at 12:30

The Pennsauken-Merchantville Area Chamber Of Commerce - PMAC Network - welcomes anyone interested to have lunch and hear of all the great things happening in Merchantville and Pennsauken from Mayor Ted brennan and Mayor Nicole Roberts. Mayor Brennan is expected to speak about working to help create opportunities and events for local businesses in both towns and the surrounding area. PMAC works as a "team" to help grow and sustain local businesses and better serve our communities.
