Multiple water related incidents occurred during from last evening's storm. Water rose to flood levels on Ivins Avenue, Glenwood Avenue, Chestnut Avenue and many Merchantville side streets. Pennsauken Township was involved in a number of water rescues along and around Route 130 and 48th Street. During heavy rain and flash floods. Watch for flooding in your basements. Make sure that home water removal equipment, like your sump pump, is working. The National Weather Service calls for more flash flooding today. and call the Merchantville Police or Fire Department with any emergencies.
