Why is wool SO warm? Should I dry clean polyester? How are there SO MANY varieties of cotton? Join us on Friday, January 27th from 6:00-6:30 p.m. at Peak Secondhand for drinks, snacks and a TURAN TALK by local scientist,
Stefan Turan, on the material science of fashion. For anyone who wants to know more about the clothes on their back, Stefan Turan is the person to ask. Raised in Merchantville, Stefan earned his B.S. in Chemistry from The College of New Jersey in 2013 and his PhD from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He currently he works for Keystone Industries in Cherry Hill as a Polymer Scientist doing research and development on acrylic polymers.
