Please join us on Saturday, June 27th, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for our 10th Annual Veteran Suicide/PTSD Awareness Walk at the Merchantville Rails-to-Trails Bike/Walking Path, sponsored by the Merchantville F.W. Grigg American Legion Post #68. We will meet on the path behind Eclipse Brewery at Gilmore & Park Avenues in Merchantville. This family friendly 1.5 mile walk along serves to bring awareness to suicide and ptsd preventio
n and treatment. We lose more veterans to suicide than in combat. The national average is 22 veterans a day. to suicide. This event is free, however any donations are welcome and will benefit local veterans through the Merchantville Post 68 American Legion family. 2016-2026 A decade of awareness, this year we will remember the late "Sarge the Service Dog" for his commitment to the Veteran community.
