Over 100 reigning indoor and outdoor world masters champions and Olympians are among over 800 athletes 35 to 95+ years old in the USA Track and Field Masters Championships in Bloomington, Indiana. Renee Henderson-Shepherd , a Pitt grad from Merchantville, is entered in the 60, 200, and 400 for women 45-49 and should do very well, as she is the American indoor record holder for her age group in each event. It's that time of year! Merchantville BSA Troop 119 is having a holiday wreath sale to raise funds for yearlong activities. Club Takes 1st & 3rd
The Merchantville Fishing Club is on a roll! The club took 1st place & 3rd place on Saturday, October 4th, at the Long Beach Island Fishing Club ASAC Tournament. This win completed the natural hat trick of three tournament wins in a row. Extra congratulations go to to Dylan O’Connell for scoring the most points in the adult competition and Brayden O’Connell for the most fish points youth category.
