Hi neighbors! You may have seen my post last week about interest in starting a porch fest here in town. Well, we're working on bringing something really special to town this fall. Please give Merchantville Porch Fest a follow and share to help get the word out. The Porch Fest is coming together and we need your help spreading the this news. Please share our posts and help us make some noise! To answer some of your questions: No - you don't need to have a porch to host - just some
space for the music and neighbors to listen. Yes - you do need to live in Merchantville proper to host, not perform. Musicians of all types are welcome - whether it's your first gig or your 1,000th - a solo acoustic set or full band. We want to hear you! Official Date coming soon! Tag a musician you’d love to hear in town. Tag a neighbor who needs to know. Spread the word, follow along, and stay tuned - something fun is starting to take shape.

Whether you’re interested in volunteering, sponsoring, hosting, playing, or just have questions about how Porch Fest will work, come out and learn more. This is a chance to connect, ask questions, and help bring something fun and new to Merchantville. I'll be set up outside under the tent at Eclipse - grab a pint and come join me for our first community meeting, then stay for the jam session!
We are still looking for neighbors who are willing to host musicians on their porch, front yard, or driveway on Saturday, October 10. Hosting is a fun way to help bring live music and some extra joy to town during its spookiest season. Have questions or want to learn more? Come see us this Friday at the Market Off Centre!
