Proud of the leadership being taken by our Borough Council to stand up for our community. Thank you Ray Woods and Sean Fitzgerald for taking a strong stand against the harmful immigration policies of the Trump administration by advancing these resolutions last night that ensure every family in our borough feels safe and respected. Resolutions: Borough Property Restriction for Federal Immigration Enforcement

- Prohibits federal immigration officers from entering or using Borough property for civil immigration enforcement without a judicial warrant, aligning Merchantville with Governor Sherrill's Executive Order No. 12. Reaffirmation of the Immigrant Trust Act & Police Policies: Reaffirms that Merchantville police will not stop, question, or detain residents based on immigration status, and will limit cooperation with federal immigration authorities in accordance with the NJ Attorney General's Immigrant Trust Directive.
