2024 Music Fest
Join us on Saturday, September 21, 2024, for the Merchantville Music Fest! This year's event promises to be bigger and better than ever, taking place in the Triangle by Eclipse Brewing, 25 East Park Avenue. Get ready for an incredible lineup of bands: Laura Shay kicks off the day with her soulful tunes. Class of 84 brings you back with some classic hits. Blue Wave Theory will keep the energy high with their surf-inspired sounds. And, Men of Soul - our headliner - will close out the night with their powerful performances.
Our 8th Graders Are Our Future
Mayor Brennan extended a special round of applause to the Merchantville School eighth grade students who planned and executed all of the carnival games and relay races we enjoyed at the 150th Birthday Sunday. The 8th grade did a great job coming up with some creative games including: Ducks in a Pond, Mystery Box Guessing, Ping-Pong Toss, Red Cup Stacking, Milk Bottle Toss, Wiffle Ball and Kick Ball. And, some fun competitive races and relay races - Sack Hop, Spoon and Egg, Fireman Costume, Sponge and the Izzy Dizzy Relay

Monsterville Contest alert! Grab a pumpkin and get crafting to enter Merchantville’s 2nd Annual Pumpkin Decorating Contest. There are countless ways and endless possibilities when it comes to dressing up a pumpkin. Break out the glitter, paint, beads, sequins, yarn - just use your imagination and be as creative as you can without carving your pumpkin! When decorated, drop it off at Borough Hall, 1 West Maple Avenue, during regular business hours to enter. Pumpkins will be displayed in our downtown businesses
Juneteenth 2024
On Wednesday June 19, 2024 we commemorate the end of slavery in the United States. The Juneteenth Flag, is a symbolic representation of that event. Ben Haith, founder of the National Juneteenth Celebration Foundation (NJCF), created the flag in 1997 with the help of collaborators, and Boston-based illustrator Lisa Jeanne Graf brought their vision to life. Upgrades at Wellwood
The Borough is proud to share an upgrade to the swings at Wellwood Park! The new set includes accessible options to bring fun to all. This project was made possible through the NJ DCA Local Recreation Improvement Grant and is the first of several plans in Merchantville to improve accessibility and inclusivity.
