Kindergarten memories
They are mostly in their 90s and have been getting together faithfully since they met years ago at the Collins Tract Elementary School in Pennsauken, NJ. It was back in Merchantville, Camden County, that these kindergartners - David Taylor, Joe Holman, Lindsay Pratt, Ralph McGee and Peg Tomlinson - first met, when life was about crayons and storybooks, recess and occasional roughhousing, and a lifestyle that is almost like a folk tale against the background of today’s computers, complex world problems, and wonders like cellphones, space travel, and cars that practically drive themselves. To watch them in action and hear them reminisce is to witness what it means to cherish friendships through life.
