We might be headed into summer this weekend, but our minds are already on the holidays. Merchantville's Holiday Home Tour is back and we are well into planning this year’s tour. The tour is the first Saturday in December - December 5, 2026. A self-guided walk through some of the most beautifully decorated homes in town, with all proceeds going back into beautifying downtown Merchantville. We already have some amazing homes on board and we are looking for a few more to complete the tour.

Pride Month, sometimes specified as LGBTQ Pride Month, is a month-long observance dedicated to the celebration of LGBTQ pride, commemorating the contributions of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer culture and community. Merchantville’s primary celebration is a Flag Raising and an event named Lip Sync with PRIDE. Camden County released results for the June 2, 2026 Primary which are unofficial and ballots will be continued to be processed through certification. Results will be updated regularly on their website. Certification date is Friday, June 12, 2026. In Camden County, incumbent Camden County Commissioners Louis Cappelli and Jonathan Young Sr. defeated a pair of progressive challengers for renomination in the Democratic primary. In the Merchantville Borough Democratic primary Ray Woods III has won for Mayor with 546 votes. There were 28 write-ins 574 total ballots cast. Merchantville's Polls will be open to all in-person voters from all Districts from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at the Community Center, 212 Somerset Street. Please enter through the rear handicap ramp. Local municipal, county and state office candidates are on the 2026 Primary ballot. Merchantville's polling place is ADA accessible. Voters will be able to vote in their local polling place on a voting machine. When the voters enter the polling place, they will be checked-in on an electronic poll
