The Camden County Parks Department will no longer collect fees from county residents for the use of athletic fields or picnic areas.  Camden County residents will continue to be asked to apply for park use permits to ensure the facilities they are requesting are available, but the fees will no longer apply to residents.

A bill declaring a break from the federal authority is now heading to Governor Phil Murphy’s desk to become the law of the Garden State. In a move aimed to shift vaccine policy authority from the federal government to the state level, the New Jersey Assembly voted 51–24 to pass legislation granting the state Department of Health (NJDOH) power to issue its own immunization recommendations, independent of the federal Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP).

New Jersey's e-bike laws recently changed significantly on January 19, 2026 to regulate electric bicycles in New Jersey following numerous dangerous crashes. The bill updates the regulation, licensing, classification, and training requirements for e-bikes.
