Merchantville’s restaurant scene is about to get a big boost as Omega's readies to open. Former McFarlan’s Chef, Omega Ellis, is slated to open the doors this spring to a new American restaurant in the McFarlan's Market, the former specialty grocery shop at the corner of East Park and North Centre Streets in the borough. Residents, who have been patiently awaiting this good news, have noticed recent facade changes - new awnings and signage - look forward to dining there soon! Omega's is currently looking for prep cooks, fry cooks, servers,

hosts, and janitorial employees. If you're interested feel free to contact them. Omega’s offers BYOB service, and will welcome guests for dine-in or takeout. The restaurant opens for full service on April 16th and hours will be from 12:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and she will offer a weekly brunch buffet from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. In addition to an omelet station and typical breakfast fare, diners can expect chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits,  and home fry dishes.
