Harriet M. Blaetz, lifelong Pennsauken resident passed away Saturday, April 27, 2019. She was 94. Harriet had retired as a Registered Nurse after many years spent working for the Methodist Hospital in Philadelphia and several doctor's offices in PA and NJ. She was also a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Merchantville.Wife of the late Robert Blaetz; mother of the late John R. Blaetz; she is survived by her two loving children, Mary E. Blaetz of Pennsauken and Robert J. Blaetz of Collingswood. Funeral service and interment in Beverly National Cemetery will be private. Peter V. Mroz Jr., of Pennsauken passed away Friday, April 19, 2019. He was 85. A longtime area resident, Peter was an avid sports fan who loved playing cards and watching baseball and game shows on TV. He is survived by his loving wife of over 62 years, Phyllis (nee Messick); a beloved daughter, Denise Brouse (John); three cherished grandchildren, Jonathon Brouse, Benjamin Brouse (Lauren), Elizabeth Brouse; and a caring sister, Rose Gallante. His Requiem Eucharist will be celebrated 11 am, Tuesday, April 23rd at Grace Episcopal Church, 7 East Maple Avenue, Merchantville. Robert D. “Bob” Dempsey, 81, of Quarryville, formerly of Peach Bottom, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2019, at Lancaster General Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Miriam W. (Wilson) Dempsey, with whom he shared 60 years of marriage. Born in Philadelphia and raised in Merchantville, NJ, he was the son of the late George W. and Ruth (Erickson) Dempsey. Bob was a graduate of Merchantville High School, Class of 1955. After high school, Bob attended the University of Delaware, earning a Bachelor’s degree in agriculture in 1959 and a Master’s degree in animal husbandry in 1961. Full obituary.
