Welcome spring with something new for your garden. Swap seeds and seedlings with members of the Pennsauken Community Garden - located behind the Pennsauken Public library on March 23rd from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. All seeds must be less than 3 years old. This Community Garden's mission is to create a community sustained organic garden in partnership with the Pennsauken's 'Green Team. The garden provides a place that facilitates community connections,

preserves open green space, nurtures cultural appreciation through food sharing, yields nutritious, local, organic produce, provides informal and formal opportunities for people of all ages to learn about composting and other sustainable gardening methods and acts as a source of community pride. Their local gardeners provide generous donations of produce for the Food Bank of South Jersey.
