Merchantville's annual Memorial Day service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 26, 2025 at Wellwood Memorial Park, Linden & Maple Avenue. As always, the services will be conducted by officers from the F.W. Grigg American Legion Post 68. In addition, BSA Troop 119 Merchantville will present the colors, Mayor Brennan will share a commemorative message and a traditional wreath laying by numerous Borough organizations and clubs will take place at the memorials facing Maple Avenue. Light refreshments will be provided
at the end of the ceremony. And, be sure to mark your calendars and come out for the 90th Annual NJ American Legion Memorial Service. The event kicks off at approximately 1:45pm at Locustwood Cemetery, followed by a moving ceremony at the American Legion section/Flag. After paying our respects, there will be a Social/Buffet at American Legion Post 372 in Cherry Hill. This long-standing tradition, dating back to the 1930s, is a time-honored event that brings together Legionnaires and their families from all across New Jersey.
