Winter has been on hiatus across large sections of the country, but multiple systems are pushing across the Northern Tier of the country through the weekend, bringing heavy snow to the Great Lakes, Ohio Valley and Northeast. A system over the last few days brought bands of snow that produced multiple pileups from northern Indiana to central New York on Wednesday and Thursday. We could see some snow fall across the I-95 corridor on

Saturday and Sunday, which could make for messy driving conditions and possible airport delays. Over 3 inches of snow is possible locally just inland of the urban corridor. The cities are likely to be on the rain/snow line, meaning light, slushy accumulations are possible. More from the Weather Channel.
